Refund & Warranty Policy
House and Garden Online understand you might be concerned about buying over the internet, or how the delivered product will feel, that is why House and Garden Online are offering a 7 day unconditional return for all items that are in original condition and packaging. For all nominated areas on the Gold Coast, the Brisbane Greater Region and up to and including Toowoomba we will collect the item from you free of charge. Outside of these areas, please contact Deb on (07) 32671361 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as there may be a charge applicable.
Once the 7 day Unconditional Return Period has lapsed, we offer Refunds and Returns under the Australian Consumer Law. We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
- Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had know about it
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from the sample or description
- Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase – e.g. your receipt.

GOODS DAMAGED If the arrived product is damaged, please contact (07) 3267 1361 as soon as possible.
N.B Each product sold requires a certain door opening size for access from moving goods into your home and indeed into the desired room of choice. Please be sure that you've studied these dimensions and assured yourself that you can accept delivery of your order. Failure to do this and requiring returning of the product to our warehouse will be at your expense. If a product is damaged whilst manoeuvring into tight openings to get into your house or into the desired room then returning these goods will be at the discretion of House and Garden Australia and House and Garden Online. A return of goods delivery fee may be applicable
WARRANTY & LIABILITY
House and Garden's liability for any claim for loss or damage will be limited to the sum paid by you for the goods. House and Garden shall not be liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations under circumstances beyond the reasonable control of House and Garden and the performance of such obligations. Returns policy Satisfaction guaranteed, unless otherwise stated all furniture has a minimum 12 month warranty covering workmanship, assuming normal care has been taken. Commercial application may not be covered
Slight colour variations may occur. Colours shown on the web site may vary from monitor to monitor and can only be taken as a guide. Material colour swatches are available for viewing at selected House and Garden Stores.
